| Are natural disasters such as flood, earthquake and hurricanes covered under my homeowners policy? Many natural disasters, such as hurricanes or tornadoes are covered under a homeowner policy. Earthquakes and floods are not. A separate flood policy can be purchased and earthquake coverage can be endorsed on to most homeowner policies.

| Is my boat insured if I have an auto or homeowners policy? If you have a homeowner's policy your boat may be covered but there are limitations. Automobile policies do not extend to boats. Boat coverage can be endorsed on to the homeowners policy or a separate policy may be needed.

Increasing comprehensive and collision deductible will help reduce premiums along with insuring your home with the same company as your automobiles.
